Image Digital Movers occupies Hangar 7 and Hangar 9 in Novato, California. Each hangar is a two-story building with total area of approximately 60,000 S.F. Genelco was hired to commission and test the data center and associated UPS, battery and fire suppression rooms, the projection room (serving the theatre) and the A/V machine room located in Hangar 9, as well as life safety equipment and power distribution components for personnel occupied spaces of Hangar 7.

The scope of work included a review of construction documents and shop drawings, organizing and participating in commissioning meetings, preparation of test scripts, functional and integrated testing, equipment rental and testing technicians, testing results analysis, report preparation, final wrap-up and training meeting.

Genelco was also responsible for the development of an emergency operation procedures manual for common failure and maintenance scenarios. These emergency operation procedures will be used by site personnel for review of the systems and to provide system level training.

After commissioning, Genelco was engaged by this facility in an annual maintenance contract to provide and/or oversee maintenance and ensure the mission critical components for both Hangar 7 and 9 remain operational 24/7.
