Genelco performs infrared imagery services for many clients utilizing specifically trained thermographers. This technology measures minute differences in temperatures and us usually performed during electrically energized, loaded conditions.

Heat is the enemy. Left unchecked, it is not only a fire hazard, but causes rapid degradation of multiple electrical components. By finding problems early they can be corrected before damage or total system failure occurs. Problems detected early, usually require only minor, low cost repairs, as opposed to the alternative which can quickly mount into millions of dollars manifesting itself in damaged equipment and unexpected downtime.

Infrared imaging is the core of a good electrical preventative maintenance program. We recommend it be scheduled no less often than annually.
